This is the home page for the autoupdate module.

What does it do?

The AutoUpdate module makes it possible to check the web for new versions of modules - these may be updates to the base Community Edition Modules, Internet Edition modules, additional NetBeans modules, or third party modules - and install them directly into the IDE. AutoUpdate automatically determines which modules in your IDE need to be updated or are missing, as well as informing you of any dependencies or requirements the new or updated modules have.

Do you need informations about NBM packages? Following document should describe NBM technology, building, distribution and Update Center architecture. There is also part about creating your own Update Center with examples.
